Items Not Accepted for Consignment

This guide explains which items Pristine Auction may reject for consignment and outlines the return process for unaccepted items.

Important Seller Information

Pristine Auction reserves the right to reject or return items at its discretion based on:

• Authentication concerns
• Marketplace standards
• Auction category compatibility
• Item condition
• Value requirements

Common Reasons Items May Be Returned

Items may be returned to the consignor if:

• The item fails authentication
• The item is deemed unacceptable for the platform
• The item does not fit a current auction category
• The item does not meet marketplace value requirements

Return Shipping Responsibility

Consignors are responsible for:

• Return shipping costs
• Insurance costs for returned items

These fees will be deducted from the seller account before items are returned.

Return Processing Timeline

Returned items are generally shipped back within 14 days after the return determination is made.

Shipping Address Responsibility

All returned items will be shipped to the address listed on the consignor account.

Pristine Auction is not responsible for:

• Invalid addresses
• Outdated account information
• Delivery issues caused by incorrect seller information

Consignors are responsible for keeping:

• Shipping addresses
• Contact information
• Account details

Return Carrier Selection

Pristine Auction reserves the right to select the return carrier based on:

• Item security requirements
• Package size or weight
• Insured value
• Shipping destination

Accepted Item Categories

Commonly accepted item categories include:

• Autographed memorabilia
• Trading cards
• Pop culture memorabilia
• Collectibles
• Art
• Coins, currency, and bullion

Items Containing Personal Information

Items containing visible personal information may still be listed and sold as submitted.

Please note:

• Listing photos may display personal information unredacted
• Sellers should remove or cover sensitive information before shipment if they do not want it publicly visible

Commonly Rejected Items

Pristine Auction may reject items, including, but not limited to:

• Inappropriate or offensive material
• Counterfeit or unauthentic branded items
• Damaged items
• Items valued under $50
• Incomplete sets
• Failed authentication items
• Ungraded coins or currency produced before 1950
• Jewelry
• Items sold as incomplete lots

• Acceptance decisions are made at the sole discretion of Pristine Auction.
• Submission of an item does not guarantee auction placement.
• Value thresholds and accepted categories may change over time.
