Before submitting cards for grading:
- You must have a Pristine Auction account
- You must complete the grading submission form
- Cards submitted through Pristine Auction grading services must be sold through Pristine Auction

Card Submission Requirements
Packaging Requirements
Each card must be submitted:
- In a penny sleeve
- Inside a semi-rigid card holder
Failure to package cards correctly may result in:
- Delayed processing
- Cards not being submitted for grading
- Cards being returned to the sender
Shipping Requirements
Recommended Shipping Method
Pristine Auction strongly recommends using the Pristine Ship feature for:
- Tracking visibility
- Shipment confirmation
- Submission accuracy
Inventory Lists Required
If Pristine Ship is not used:
- Each grading submission must include a detailed inventory list
Inventory lists must include:
- Card year
- Card brand
- Player or character name
Missing Inventory Lists
Pristine Auction is not responsible for discrepancies when inventory lists are not provided.
Orders submitted without inventory documentation may also incur additional surcharges.
Submission Processing Rules
- Grading orders must ship separately from standard seller consignments
- Cards are generally sent for grading on the Friday following receipt
- Incomplete submission forms may result in delays or processing surcharges
Auction Requirements After Grading
Cards submitted through Pristine Auction grading services are required to be sold through Pristine Auction.
Failure to sell submitted cards through Pristine Auction may result in:
- Additional fees
- Return holds until fees are paid
Post-Grading Auction Preferences
Once grading is completed:
- Sellers will be notified of the grading results
- Sellers have 2 days to provide auction preferences
If no response is received within 2 days:
- Cards may automatically be listed in the weekly trading card auction with no reserve
Important Notes
- Sellers are responsible for all grading fees regardless of final grade or grading outcome.
- Card grading is opinion-based and performed solely by third-party grading companies.
- Turnaround times are estimates and may vary based on grading company volume.
- Pristine Auction reserves the right to reject or return cards before or after grading based on value requirements or submission issues.
