If a seller requests to remove an item from auction after it has already been listed, a pulling fee will apply.
Pulling Fee
A $20 pulling fee will be charged per item removed from auction or returned after listing.
When Pulling Fees Apply
A pulling fee applies when a seller requests that a listed item be removed from auction and returned after processing and listing work has already been completed.
Why Pulling Fees Exist
Once an item has been listed, Pristine Auction has already invested time and resources into:
- Intake processing
- Photography
- Listing creation
- Auction placement
- Marketing preparation
The pulling fee helps offset those operational costs.
Return Shipping Costs
If a pulled item is returned to the consignor:
- Return shipping and insurance costs may also apply
- These charges may be deducted from the seller account before shipment
Important Notes
- Pulling requests are subject to approval by Pristine Auction.
- Requests submitted close to auction closing times may not be accommodated.
- Fees apply per individual item removed from auction.
