Winning bidders are required to submit payment in full within 7 days of the auction ending.
Payment Deadline
Customers must complete payment:
- Within 7 days of auction close
During this payment period:
- Pristine Auction may attempt to process payment using payment methods saved on the customer’s account
Unpaid and Forfeited Orders
If payment cannot be successfully collected after 7 days:
- The lot(s) may be forfeited
- The bidder may be charged a restocking fee equal to 30% of the auction invoice total
- The customer’s bidding privileges may be restricted until the balance is resolved
Restocking Fees
Restocking fees are assessed to the non-paying bidder’s account and are retained by Pristine Auction.
Please note:
- Sellers are not entitled to any portion of the restocking fee
- Restocking fees are not considered seller proceeds
Impact on Sellers
When a winning bidder fails to complete payment:
- The original transaction may be canceled
- The item may be relisted into a future auction at the discretion of Pristine Auction
