Understanding the difference can help set expectations for shipping, local pick-up, and additional services.
Warehouse Items
Items labeled as shipping from the Pristine Auction warehouse are physically stored at our Phoenix, Arizona, facility.
These items are shipped directly by Pristine Auction and may qualify for additional services such as:
- Local pick-up
- Framing services
- Hold To Combine shipping
Drop Ship Items
Drop ship items are fulfilled directly by approved offsite vendors rather than from the Pristine Auction warehouse.
These vendors are reputable sellers who list items on the Pristine Auction platform while managing their own inventory storage and shipping operations.
Important Differences for Drop Ship Items
No Local Pick-Up
Drop ship items are not eligible for local pick-up at the Pristine Auction warehouse.
No Framing Services
Framing services are not available for drop ship items.
Shipping and Hold To Combine
Drop ship items are shipped directly by the offsite vendor and are not physically held at the Pristine Auction warehouse.
As a result:
- Drop ship items will generally ship immediately after processing
- They cannot be physically combined with warehouse-held inventory
- Combined shipping discounts or rates may still apply in certain situations when eligible
How to Identify Item Type
Auction listings will display a shipping designation near the bottom of the item page indicating whether the item ships from:
- Pristine Auction Warehouse
or - An Offsite Vendor

Shipping timelines, packaging, and fulfillment methods may vary between warehouse items and drop ship items depending on the vendor and item type.
