Second Chance Offers (SCO)
Second chance offers are a feature available if sellers have multiples of an item that is sold on auction and they would like to offer them to the next highest bidder(s). Sellers have 48 hours to issue the second chance offer. Once it has been offered, the customer will have 48 hours to accept the offer before it expires. SCOs are not eligible for local pick-up.
Near Reserve Offers
Near reserve offers are a feature where if items end without meeting the reserve, but bidders come within 75% of the reserve amount, the seller may offer the item to the customer at the last highest bid that they placed. There is a 48-hour window for the seller to issue the near reserve offer and for the customer to accept it. EX. If the consignor issues the offer after 30 hours, the customer only has 18 hours to accept it.
